Achievements of life
A little history (about me)
I was born and brought up in Patuakhali, Bangladesh, a small Asian country. I came from a small family that's why my parents and my brother were the only persons in my family. I spent my pre-school and Kindergarten in Dhaka then I have finished high school in a small town Dashmina. Then I went to the city name Barisal for higher secondary and finished my graduation and masters from B. M University. Those times were the best times of my student life. I want to share some funny things that are very challenging for most of the girls from many countries. When I was in a hostel, there were lots of guava trees and coconut trees in that area. I had a group who used to climb the trees and grab those fruits. In addition, I spent some time with the cultural programs such as singing, dancing, etc.
I came to the USA in 2020 and started a new life which was more challenging than climbing those trees. I still cannot remember those days. I have suffered a lot when I first came here. Wherever I looked-everything was unfamiliar and everyone was unknown. Nothing was mine, nobody was mine. The sun, the moon, and also the natures look like different nature. Peoples, cultures, languages were different. With the millions of people, I felt like I was on a deep ocean by myself. Then I was working in 7/11 for 3 years. I was married in 2012. That was a great achievement in my life. My husband is also from Bangladesh and a very creative person. Right now, I have three little kids who took all my time. I do not feel lonely now and they are my everything. I spent all my day with my family and I do not feel that I do not have anyone.

I love nature and like to travel with my family. I have many plans for my life in the future. Most of them are traveling in different countries and see the peoples. Hopefully, I am graduating in Science end of this year. For the pandemic, I am home and do not work. This time is hard, but it teaches so many positive things also. Life has too many struggles and obstacles, but we need to be strong to challenge them. Life is hard and colorful too. So as human beings, we should enjoy it and love it.

Nurunnahar,
ReplyDeleteExcellent first post. Your English is very good. You write with good organization, and you offer many specific details to color in your story.
I particularly like how you mention the fruit trees - and climbing them to gather fruit. This sounds fun and it shows your adventurous side.
I am sure that moving to the US was a big transition, but it sounds like you have a wonderful family and I'm sure that you are finding your community in your new neighborhood. The pandemic has been difficult for many people. I hope you will be able to return to work soon, but I am glad that you decided to take classes in the meantime.
Great post. The images are well-placed, the captions give context, and your writing is clear. I look forward to reading more of your work and hearing more from your perspective.
